Sod Installation
Sod Installation
A new lawn is only as good as what's underneath it — proper grading and soil prep determine whether sod establishes well or struggles from day one. We lay a premium blend of Kentucky bluegrass, fescue, and perennial rye, chosen for durability and how well it holds up through Lower Mainland winters, rather than a single-species turf that thins out fast.
What We Offer
-
A mix of Kentucky bluegrass, fescue, and perennial rye — bluegrass for density and colour, fescue for shade and drought tolerance, and perennial rye for fast establishment and wear resistance.
-
Proper base grading before sod goes down, so water drains correctly and the lawn doesn't develop low spots or pooling over time.
-
Full lawn replacement or fresh sod for new construction — laid tight with staggered seams for a lawn that looks established, not patched together.
Our Process
Consultation & Site Visit
We start with a free, on-site consultation — walking your property, talking through what you're trying to solve, and getting a feel for your soil, drainage, and site access before anything is quoted.
Design & Quote
From a hand-drawn sketch to a full AutoCAD or SketchUp design, we put together a clear plan and an itemized quote — so you know exactly what's included and what it costs before we break ground.
Installation
One crew, one point of contact, from prep through final installation — built and planted with the care and technique that holds up to our wet Pacific Northwest winters, whether it's a retaining wall or a new garden bed.
Final Walkthrough & Warranty
We walk the finished project with you, answer any questions, and back the work with our workmanship warranty — 2 years on hardscaping, 1 year on softscaping.
