Sloped lots and grade changes are common throughout Port Moody, Coquitlam, and the surrounding hillside neighbourhoods — and they usually call for both a retaining wall and a way to move safely through the change in elevation. We build engineered retaining walls with proper drainage, base compaction, and wall block or natural stone suited to local soil conditions, paired with code-compliant stairs and steps in matching stone, paver, or timber. A wall or set of steps built without proper drainage and footing depth is more expensive to fix later than to build right the first time.
What We Offer

Interlocking concrete blocks — the most common choice for taller walls or larger runs. Consistent, structurally reliable, and available in a range of finishes to match your home's exterior. Options include Allan Block, Valley Stone, Cypress Stone, and similar segmental systems.

Large, irregular stone set for a rugged, organic look. Well-suited to sloped or naturalized landscapes where a manufactured look would feel out of place. Requires more careful placement and equipment access than block. Includes granite boulders, basalt columns, and other natural stone depending on availability and the look you're after.

A warmer, more traditional look, typically used for shorter walls or garden-bed retention rather than major grade changes. More budget-friendly upfront, with a shorter lifespan than block or boulder. Available in 4x4, 6x4, and 6x6 timber sizes depending on wall height and load.

Final Walkthrough & Warranty
We walk the finished project with you, answer any questions, and back the work with our workmanship warranty — 2 years on hardscaping, 1 year on softscaping.
